For some time Michele has felt the presence of those who have passed as victims of violent crime. In many cases, she is given very detailed images relating to the events that occurred prior to and at the time of death, including physical sensations in her body, mental impressions and sensory information about the nature of the victim’s death. Michele has also received very detailed and specific visual impressions relating to the location of a crime or the place where a victim’s body was left or hidden. Most often, such impressions relate to crimes that occur in and around the San Diego area. 

The impressions are not always local, however. Some victims find Michele even as far away as Chicago. For instance when American Idol star and award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson’s family was shot, Michele found herself communicating with the nephew (one of the victims who was killed), even before she learned of the tragedy. Michele helped the little boy connect with his other family members on the other side.  He was a little started by the quick transition but soon he was happy to be with his loved ones. Other examples of non local crimes include the case of a person listed as missing last fall. Michele heard of the story and soon after received images of a place near a highway, just off the road, near a forested area and was convinced the missing person’s body would be found there. Shortly after, the body was found and in the story a picture of the place matched Michele’s impression in every detail.

Michele also receives impressions of tragic events that will occur or have occurred. For example one night as she lay in bed she felt as if a plane was going to crash on her home. It took some time to shake the feeling of a plane crashing on her as she lay in bed. She did the best she could to shake the ominous feeling and fell asleep. The next morning on the news Michele learned there was a plane crash just a few miles from her home. Officials said two people were killed when an F/A-18 military jet about to land at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar slammed into a San Diego neighborhood. Instantly Michele knew why she had experienced the sensations. 

In Michele’s experience, those beings who have crossed over have a very strong desire to communicate with their loved ones to let them know they are now at peace and well. However, many such beings also want to complete the experience they have recently endured by assisting family and law enforcement to solve the crime and allow for the perpetrator to also complete the event. While we may view this as a desire for revenge, something often made popular in movies, in Michele’s experience this is actually an act of deep love and understanding. From the larger perspective of Spirit, victims often understand that in some way that we truly don’t understand while on Earth, the victim and the perpetrator have created the experience they have shared and, for both beings, the desire is to complete the event. For the Spirit, this is a beautiful release from the experience, while for the perpetrator it is also a release, though of course this will usually include incarceration as a part of the experience.
